Botanical Name: Fucus Vesiculosus

Bladderwrack is a Seaweed found in the Atlantic, Pacific Oceans, Baltic, and North Sea. A few other Names Include Rockweed, Bladder Fucus, Sea Oak, and Red Fucus. 

Bladderwrack contains Powerful Antioxidants. Some of the Minerals and Vitamins found in Bladderwrack are Iodine, Fiber, Potassium, Sodium, Magnesium, Iron, Vitamin A, B Group Vitamins, including All Nine Essential Amino Acids just to name a Few.

How to Prepare Bladderwrack: Use a Herbal Blender and Grind Bladderwrack into a Powder form.

Daily Dosage : Use ½ tsp to 1 tsp  per day.

No more than 150 mcg iodine should be consumed from all sources, including Bladderwrack, per day. 

Mixing Bladderwrack with Sea Moss, and Burdock Root =102 Minerals (the Human body needs to Thrive)

Bladderwrack is NOT the same as bladderwort (an inland aquatic plant found in lakes and streams)

List of a Few Warnings When Taking Bladderwrack Include: 

  • Do Not Use if you have a Iodine or Shellfish Allergy.
  • Bladderwrack Contains a High Amount of Iodine- Please Consult with a Medical Professional if you are consuming Thyroid Medications, or Have Issues with your Thyroid. 
  •  Risk for Bleeding and Bruising in people with bleeding disorders. 
  • Stop taking Bladderwrack two weeks before a surgery, Bladderwrack may slow the blood clotting process. 
  • Unsafe For Pregnant Women. Do Not Use during pregnancy and/or breast-feeding.
  • Bladderwrack might make it harder for women to get pregnant.
  • Can interfere with Cardiac, Thyroid medications, and Blood thinners such as Heparin, Warfarin.
  •  If you are taking Antiplatelet or Anticoagulant medications like Aspirin, Ibuprofen, etc. Bladderwrack may increase the risk of bruising and/or bleeding.
